Storm Damage Repair
In early May, DPW crews and equipment were deployed just off Long Beach Avenue to dig up and replace a failing culvert that was damaged by Winter Storm Eliot in December of 2022. As such, this repair is eligible for FEMA reimbursement and DPW is working with FEMA to receive funds for it. This important culvert is key for drainage of the Little River and required heavy equipment to bury the pipe and stabilize the area around it.
