A Cooperative Project with York’s Water and Sewer Districts

This multi-phased project includes water main and sewer main replacement, road, drainage, and sidewalk improvements. DPW is also adding a paved shoulder and sidewalk to improve the bicycle and pedestrian experience.

What’s in the Works Now?

Water main replacement was completed in late summer of 2023. DPW then removed/replaced failing road culverts, installed a new drainage system and new road base for resurfacing by contractors from Libby Scott Paving. New curbs and a new sidewalk were also part of this project that took place from Dover Bluff to Third Street. This project is now considered complete with some final landscaping scheduled to take place during the spring of 2024.
