York Days Returns!

York Days is returning with more than a week of events and activities including a movie on the beach, 5K race, Nubble Lighthouse lighting, fireworks and a craft fair.

  • The annual York Days 5K will take place July 31 at 8 a.m. with a $25 sign-up for participants. The race benefits youth programming throughout York and DPW crews will be sweeping the length of the course to ensure a fun and safe race for all. The summer lighting of the Nubble Lighthouse will take place from July 29 to August 7.
  • On Sunday, July 31, there will be live music featuring the Portsmouth Brass Quintet.
  • The York Days Craft Fair takes place August 6-7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, then 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the York Beach Ball Field rain or shine.
  • On Sunday, August 7, York Beach Fire Department is sponsoring a fireworks display on Short Sands Beach at 9 p.m.
