York Days Returns!

York Days is returning with more than a week of events and activities including a movie on the beach, a 5K race, Nubble Lighthouse lighting, and a toy drive.

  • Fri. July 28 – Beach Movie: The Croods – A New Age
    • York Parks & Recreation will set up a projector, inflatable screen, and audio system for a beach movie night at Long Sands Beach in front of the bathhouse. The movie begins at 8 p.m.
  • Fri. July 28 – Nubble Lighting/Christmas in July Toy Drive
    • 7-9 p.m. at Sohier Park, lights will go on, Santa collecting toys for toy drive, Reindeer petting zoo by the welcome center, and bake sale.
  • Sun. July 30 – York Days 5K
    • 8-11 a.m. Race participants gather at York High School around 7 a.m. with race starting at 8 a.m. Sponsored by York Parks & Rec. Course from Robert Stevens Drive onto Long Sands Road to Ridge Road to Webber Road to Long Beach Avenue to Long Sands Road and back to the high school via Robert Stevens Drive.
