Work Will Continue on the Seawall Throughout the Fall and Winter
Visitors to Long Sands Beach area will notice a work crew and equipment deployed and resuming work on another section of the seawall project.
This work is part of Phase 3 in the overall project and involves clearing sand to expose the toe of the seawall, pouring concrete footings and installing the large granite forms that make up the seawall.
Work will continue through winter and the sidewalk will be closed at the active construction area.
