To support the town’s pavement preservation plan. The budget will be used to overlay roads that are in the “Rehabilitation” stage of life. The goal is to avoid the higher cost of replacement when damage goes beyond DPW’s ability to repair.

How Will Funds Be Used?
Phases One and Two are complete. Three began in the Fall of 2021 with construction ongoing. Funds will be used to complete Phase Four and begin Phase Five to repair damage to the seawall from previous storms. In addition to reducing damage from future storms, construction will widen the sidewalk, improving pedestrian safety.

How Will Funds Be Used?
To remove & replace all undersized/ failing road culverts and install a new closed drainage system with underdrain and catch basins on the edge of the road from York Street to Lindsay Road. The project will widen the paved shoulder and continue sidewalks which will improve bicycle and pedestrian safety.

How Will Funds Be Used?
The funds will be used to continue work from Shelton Avenue to Uland Pond Way in the next phase of the project. This will improve stormwater drainage and pedestrian traffic by adding sidewalks, paving shoulders, and widening the road.
