Thank You All Who Attended Hazardous Waste Day This Year!

Next year’s Hazardous Waste Day will be held on Saturday, October 25th, 2025. In the meantime, Maine residents can drop off their household hazardous waste at the Riverside Recycling Facility at 910 Riverside Street, Portland, ME on the 1st Saturday of the month (April through November).   • Charcoal lighter fluid
  • Gasoline & other fuels
  • Pesticides
  • Poisons
  • Oil base paint
  • Paint thinners
  • Solvents
  • Strippers

**NO LATEX PAINTS ACCEPTED**
